This release fixes a few issues observed when using GENIE 2.10.8 with ROOT6.
Users of
Docker can now pull images of GENIE from
DockerHub. Just set up Docker and use
docker pull gnperdue/genie:latest
or
docker pull gnperdue/genie:2.10.8
(2.10.6 is also supported).
If this proves to be a popular way to run GENIE, we'll create a GENIE organization on DockerHub and try to include more releases there. Note that for development work and production, we recommend building GENIE natively, but for quick studies or tutorials, checkout from Docker might be convenient.

We are pleased to announce a Workshop on Global Fits to Neutrino Scattering Data and Generator Tuning (NuTune2016)
to be held at the University of Liverpool in UK from the 11th till the 15th of July this year. (This is the week after Neutrino 2016 held in London.)
The first part of workshop (11th-12th) is open to the entire community and will feature discussion of current tuning efforts as well as in-depth talks
and discussions of datasets and models which are crucial in these efforts. We encourage the submission of abstracts as well as topics for discussion.
Please visit the
workshop page.
