Richard Calland, PhD thesis, Liverpool University, 2014

Liverpool email address: mailto:rcalland@hepREMOVETHIS.ph.liv.ac.uk

The thesis is here: http://hep.ph.liv.ac.uk/~rcalland/rcalland_thesis_corrected.pdf. This includes a chapter on the GPU oscillation calculations.

The paper that the code is based on is: http://journals.aps.org.ezproxy.liv.ac.uk/prd/pdf/10.1103/PhysRevD.22.2718

A self contained example code (written by an SK collaborator) for prob3++ (which the thesis gpu code is based on) is here: http://www.phy.duke.edu/~raw22/public/Prob3++/

the code is used in most of T2K's osc analyses. The GPU version can be found here: http://hep.ph.liv.ac.uk/~rcalland/probGPU/ . It only calculates constant density at the moment, however the code it is based on can calculate earth matter effects via a piecewise method, used for atmospherics.
