IT Services Network Registration

If you have an un-managed Windows or Linux system.

The user has to first send a request to servicedesk@liverpoolREMOVETHIS.ac.uk for an IP address, attaching the device's mac address.

The user should be able to log this in using this procedure: IT Services Knowledge Base - Network Access Control - Unmanaged desktop device (PCs and Macs) log in network authentication

and then ask for an exemption with the IT Asset Registration form if you require the device to be indefinitely connected to the network.

In cases where you need to (re)install a system with no prior network registration, you may want to bring it over to us.
