The distribution of m<sub> T</sub><sup>tot</sup> for the b-veto category of the (a) &tau;<sub>lep</sub>&tau;<sub>had</sub>  and  (b) &tau;<sub>had</sub>&tau;<sub>had</sub>  channels, the b-tag category of the (c) &tau;<sub>lep</sub>&tau;<sub>had</sub>  and (d) &tau;<sub>had</sub>&tau;<sub>had</sub>  channels, and the inclusive category of the (e) &tau;<sub>lep</sub>&tau;<sub>had</sub>  and (f) &tau;<sub>had</sub>&tau;<sub>had</sub>  channels. The label "Others" in (b), (d) and (f) refers to contributions due to diboson, Z(&rarr;&#8467;&#8467;)+jets and W(&rarr;&#8467;&nu;)+jets production. For the b-veto and b-tag categories, the binning displayed is that entering into the statistical fit discussed in Section 7, while the predictions and uncertainties for the background and signal processes are obtained from the fit under the hypothesis of no signal. The inclusive category distributions are shown before any statistical fit.  Overflows are included in the last bin of the distributions.
