The distributions of m<sub> T</sub><sup>tot</sup> in (a) the &tau;<sub>lep</sub>&tau;<sub>had</sub> channel W+jets control region, (b) the tanti-t validation region of the &tau;<sub>lep</sub>&tau;<sub>had</sub> channel, (c) the &tau;<sub>had</sub>&tau;<sub>had</sub> channel b-veto same-sign validation region and (d) the &tau;<sub>had</sub>&tau;<sub>had</sub> channel b-tag same-sign validation region. The various control and validation regions are defined in Table 1.  The data are compared to the background prediction and a hypothetical MSSM H/A&rarr;&tau;&tau; signal (m<sub>A</sub> = 500GeV and tan&beta; = 20). The Monte Carlo statistics of the signal is limited in the background-dominated regions. The label "Others" in (c) and (d) refers to contributions due to diboson, Z(&rarr;&#8467;&#8467;)+jets and W(&rarr;&#8467;&nu;)+jets production.  The background uncertainty includes statistical and systematic uncertainties. The bins have a varying size and overflows are included in the last bin of the distributions.
