Notes on file formats for inclusion on LCFI website.

Please make .ps, .pdf, .gif or .jpeg (.jpg) files.

These can be sent either uncompressed or compressed as 
attachments to an e-mail, in the body of an e-mail if 
you cannot send attachments, or put somewhere where I
can access them via ftp. 

If compressing the files, please do so using gzip or 
uuencode. 

Things that might have to be done to the files by Tim.

Postscript files sometimes need editing of carriage 
return and line feed characters (``dos2unix'').

Postcript files in landscape format often need the 
``landscape'' turned into a ``portrait'' to avoid 
the edges of the pictures being clipped.

Uuencoded files often need an additional carriage return 
at the end of the file before the ``end'' line is visible
and they can be uudecoded.
