LCFI collaboration meeting on Thursday 27th March ================================================= Start 16:00 UK time. You can participate in this meeting in one of three ways. You may come to RAL (Conf Room 1, Building R1), to Liverpool U Physics Dept, Oliver Lodge Laboratory, Room 306, or you may phone in from wherever you are. Phone-in participants should ring the BT conference centre at +44 1296 311600 (or 01296 311600 from the UK). This will connect you to an operator. Ask for the RUTHERFORD CONFERENCE CHAIRED BY MR DAMERELL, ACCESS CODE C077011. Meeting Agenda 1) LCUK developments 2) Detector R&D status and plans Note: Susan Cooper has pointed out that, while this section is useful in providing status reports, it would be valuable to add some discussion of the near-term future outlook, particularly where decisions will need to be taken. In this way, everyone interested will be able to think about issues and contribute to the decision making. Many decisions are taken in our weekly group meetings at RAL, and in Nicolo's physics study meetings. It would surely be useful to widen the thinking to include all collaboration members who are interested. Could all WP managers please think about this, and discuss issues coming up for decisions, as part of their presentations in this and future collaboration meetings. 2.1 Thin ladder development, incl new survey system 2.2 CPCCD (work with e2V) 2.3 CPCCD (simulation) 2.4 CPCCD readout chip 2.5 CPCCD MCM (multi-chip module, incl bump bonding) 2.6 CPCCD electronics (motherboard and beyond) 2.7 CPCCD packaging 2.8 CCD58 and CPCCD system testing 2.9 Detector test system - Liverpool 2.10 Detector test system - Oxford 3) Physics studies 4) LCFI organisation/manpower 5) Finances 6) Reports from recent LC-related meetings 7) Future LC-related meetings 8) AOB If you have transparencies or drawings to show, please send them electronically to Tim Greenshaw, green@hep.ph.liv.ac.uk, so he can make them accessible from the LCFI home page.
