1) Faraday Centre proposal not accepted, but a major opportunity from 
the Fundamental Technology fund (it's like being a beggar, there's 
always hope from the next passer-by). We should discuss reactions to 
the PPARC Town Meeting on 11th December.

Justin and Chris of a brainstorming meeting on the column-parallel 
CCD concept, held on Friday 15th December at Marconi Borehamwood.
