Technology Division (TD), Jim Kay DL, to deliver: ------------------------------------------------- 1998 Q3 Agree final specification including modifications to accommodate support of Q0 magnet. 1998 Q4 Complete design of PCB layouts and pursue production of art work and PCBs 1999 Q1 Complete planar chamber design, including necessary studies of gas tank stability and of HV distribution, signal cabling and gas distribution on planar chamber. Proviide clean room and assembly infrastructure at Daresbury including gas and HV for planar chamber tests. (Assistance from PPD/Universities with HV power supplies and test equipment.) 1999 Q2 Produce cabling scheme for FTD within H1 and manufacture new tank fedthroughs. 2000 Q1 Three planar chambers constructed to above design, (tested by PPD/Universities). 2000 Q2 Remove FTD from H1, dismantle FTD and remove transition radiators and MWPCs, install 3 new planar chambers, reassemble FTD. (Planned shutdown March 2000...?) Co-ordinate additional technical support from the Universities. 2000 Q3 Install FTD in H1.
