DIS99 was the 7th in a series of annual workshops on Deep Inelastic Scattering (DIS) and Quantum Chromodynamics. Previous workshops took place in Durham, Eilat, Paris, Rome, Chicago, and Brussels. The 1999 workshop was held at DESY Zeuthen near Berlin from April 19 to 23.
The aim of these workshops has been to review progress in the field of DIS and QCD and to discuss its prospects. The workshop is opened by plenary talks given by the major experiments at HERA, FNAL and in spin physics and a theoretical talk on developments in QCD. The original papers are presented during the 4 topical parallel sessions on:
The deadline for registration was February 12th, 1999. The workshop fee is now 600 DM. Since attendance is above the planned limit those who register now will have to await further confirmation before their registration is accepted. More detailed information is contained in the accompanying web pages.
Please notice that a few information pages will be handed out to all participants with a paper folder, i.e. personal bags should be brought if desired.
Any questions regarding the conference should be sent by e-mail to dis99@ifh.de.
