I post in this page a few weird things I saw around.....

Pompeii is a worldwide known archaeological site and I don't feel capable of adding anything to what everybody already knows. You can find here just a little curiosity. In the commerce area many activities were advertised by small sculptures on the main doors. Do you know what a Lupanare is?

It is nice sometimes to be at the centre of something: well, this rather uneventful monument is the geographical centre of Europe (the European Park, near Vilnius, Lithuania).

Only in Japan: I was wondering what was this sign on the pavement of the sidewalk! Here is the answer. I also found a different approach to personal hygiene (very efficient for saving space in your bathroom, but a bit an uncomfortable thought for me .......). 

Only in Crete: this is on an island (Chrissi) south of Crete, where only two boats with tourists arrive every day. There is no village but people stay over for the night. As you can see here, there is no much to do ........

This is instead the view that the only true god has seen at birth, in the Diktaian cave on the Lassithi plateau (Crete), the birthplace of Zeuss.
