K5-505 Outer Module using 'New' Patch Card
-
Module mounted in Liverpool Cooling Box (see picture below).
-
Module mounted directly onto the cooling block.
-
The Box is 'grounded' to the module via the cooling block - the jumpers
on the Patch Card are left out.
-
No common-mode chokes used.
-
Optical (Electro-optical Emulation) data route (Select = 0)
-
Nominal ABCD bias settings (FEShp = 30uA, FEBias = 220uA)
-
Nominal Vdet = 80V, Idet = 0.46uA
-
Thybrid = 38C
Opto-Emulation
The module is configured to be readout via the opto chips, the interconnection
from the Driver Board to the module is made via a 5m screened Ethernet
cable (CAT5). The input signals for the DORIC have been set so that they
are switching at ~130uA. The DORIC is specified to expect input signals
whose switching range is 60uA - 600uA (for a Logic 1).
