All modules tested using AERO
-
Module(s) mounted in Liverpool Cooling Box
-
Module(s) mounted onto cooling block with thermal pad (electrically
conductive).
-
Agnd connection to box.
-
Clip-on choke used on LV-3 power supply cable to module - 5m length.
-
Optical (Electro-optical Emulation) data routes (Select = 0)
-
Nominal ABCD bias settings (FEShp = 30uA, FEBias = 220uA)
-
Nominal Vdet = 150V
-
Thybrid ~13C
Results
Module: M-O-042
-
Front-end Input noise, Link0 = 1467e, Link1
= 1508e;
-
Gain, Link0 = 54.03mV/fC, link1 = 53.97mV/fC;
-
Threshold variation (for TrimRange 0) , Link0 = 2.7mV,
Link1 = 2.08mV.
-
Noise Occupancy, Link0 = 1.13x 10-5 .Link1
= 1.09x 10-5.
Conclusions
-
Module has been demonstrated to operate successfully
using both the Optical and Redundant data routes.
-
There is little discernable difference with the module
performance whichever method of module readout is selected.
