Hi Paul
I think the next step is to identify a local scaffold vendor and work with
them to advance the design. I wanted to show something so we could have a
discussion but it is just a placeholder.

Hi All,
It looks good. I have a couple of questions.
1. Maybe I'm zooming in to the wrong place but would you envisage steps
going up to this? If so, where would they be and if not, how would you get
someone up to the platform
2. Will the fencing around the platform be removable? This might be
useful for craning items in in case you have anything that only just fits
under the crane hook (the fencing looks a bit higher than the tank).
3. Is there a benefit to being dodecagonal or would a square platform
be preferable? It might give a little extra space to get around the tank if
you need an a-frame for a rescue hoist for example

Hi Jan,
Thanks for doing this. It would be good to get a comment from the Boulby
staff to see how workable this would be.
Thanks,
Jon

Hi
Here is a link to a 3D representation of my current model:
https://autode.sk/3XTJKVJ This link should work with any browser on any
computer. The step translation is available if you click on the "download"
button.
I am assuming that a scaffolding vendor will be identified and that the
design will get advanced working with this vendor so that safety and
certification issues can be resolved.
