Deep Learning -- Foundations of Deep Neural Networks

The seminar will give an introduction to the mathematical foundations of deep neural networks.  Building up from feed-forward classification networks, more sophisticated models (such as auto encoders and unsupervised learning with unlabeled data) will be developed.  The presentation will be complemented by practical examples and software installation guides for those in the audience interested to explore Deep Learning solutions in their problem domain.
