H1 Forward Tracker Upgrade

Simulation & Reconstruction

The forward tracker reconstruction has been run with 6 different configurations of radial wires on a sample of high Q2 events. The FTREC pattern recognition summary output has been merged for the 6 runs and is  available.  This also contains the radial and planar drift residuals for all tracks, 'long' tracks and hits close to the wire. The look plots together with the peakparm results for these residual plots are given below:
 

  1. default  - usual 3 radials on
  2. norad    - all radials off
  3. 2rad       - first 2 radials on last radial off
  4. 3front8 - 3 radials on, but only front 8 wires on
  5. 3mid8   - 3 radials on, but only middle 8 wires on
  6. 3back8  - 3 radials on, but only back 8 wires on
