Location

The University of Liverpool is conveniently located near to Liverpool John Lennon Airport, Manchester International Airport, Liverpool Lime Street station and major road links. Information on how to get to the university can be found at www.liv.ac.uk/maps/visiting/

If you are travelling from Liverpool John Lennon Airport:

• By Bus
• Express bus service 500 to Liverpool ONE, ~£5 each way. Runs from 05:00-18:30, takes ~25 mins.
• Service 80A, 86A to Liverpool ONE (or Myrtle St.), single ticket price £2.20. Runs from 05:00-23:00, takes ~40-60 mins.
• By Taxi
• There is a taxi stand by the arrivals door. Cost depends on destination and time of day. To city centre before 23:00 pm ~£15, after 23:00 ~£20.
• Late arrivals may need to phone for a taxi. Try Village Taxis (0151 427 7909) or Delta Taxis (0151 922 7373). Pick up is not from the taxi stand by arrivals, but across the road from the pick-up/drop-off area next to the car park.

If you are travelling from Manchester Airport:

There is a train and coach station located in the airport.

• By train. Direct to Liverpool Lime Street Station or change at Manchester Piccadilly. Journey Planner (journey time 60-90 mins.
• By coach. National Express coaches direct to Liverpool coach station (Norton St, Liverpool L3 8LR). Journey Planner (journey time ~50 mins).
