K5-xxx Outer Module using 'New' Patch Card

Opto-Emulation

The module is configured to be electrically 'remote' from the readout support card, the interconnection from support card to the module is made via a 5m screened Ethernet cable (for the BPM encoded CLK0/COM0 and Link0/Link1 data streams). The input signals for the DORIC have been set so that they are switching at 60uA (low-end), the DORIC is specified to expect input signals whose switching range is 60uA - 600uA (for a Logic 1).

Note that it is necessary for ABCD S11 (Link1) to be bypassed due to it returning Protocol Errors when being readout. This problem is not present when using the Redundant data route. The CLK0/COM0 outputs from DORIC have been probed and are present and correct, likewise the wirebonds to the ASIC.
