Pre-Production Series Outer Modules using 'New' Patch Card

Opto-Emulation

The module is configured to be readout via the opto chips, the interconnection from the Driver Board to the module is made via a 5m screened Ethernet cable (CAT5). The input signals for the DORIC have been set so that they are switching at ~130uA. The DORIC is specified to expect input signals whose switching range is 60uA - 600uA (for a Logic 1).

K5-505 Results

K5-507 Results

NEW: Both modules have had the bonds on the Opto-chips reworked - Module readout can now be done through Link0 and Link1.
There is no discernable difference between results obtained when readout is either through a single link or both links (as one would expect).

Given the use of non-perfect ABCDs and hybrid temperature at 38C - module electrical performance looks good.
