Introduction
I am a first year PhD student in the High Energy Physics group at the University of Liverpool. I am working on the CDF experiment at Fermilab under the supervision of Dr. Beate Heinemann and Professor Paul Booth. I am based in Liverpool until early July, when I will be moving to Fermilab (40 miles west of Chicago) for 18 months.
My first year project concerned reducing the fake photon background: details can be found here. I am now working on jet energy corrections with a view to a top quark analysis. I also maintain the Liverpool CDF website.
