Kai Hock, Lecturer, University of Liverpool
1985: BA (Honours Class 1), Physics and Theoretical Physics, University of Cambridge.
1988: PhD in physics, University of Cambridge. Thesis: Low energy electron scattering from molecules on surfaces.
1992: Senior analyst in DSO National Laboratories in Singapore. Worked on atmospheric optics, signal processing and radar tomography.
1997: Principal Engineer in Sony Singapore Research Laboratory. Worked on servo control system in optical disc systems. Spent a total of half a year at Sony headquarters in Japan.
2001: Principal Research Scientist in National University of Singapore. Worked on microwave measurements, electromagnetic computation and metamaterials. Spent half a year at Dassault Aviation in France to work on frequency selective surfaces.
2006: Postdoc in accelerator physics at Cockcroft Institute / University of Liverpool, UK.
2008: Lecturer in accelerator physics at University of Liverpool.
