      The current install is complete, although we can always look into
      adding requested software that isn't in our current configuration.<br>
      <br>
      VNC is a different issue though; the way it's implented in RHEL9
      based operating systems like AlmaLinux 9 has changed, meaning it
      (essentially) can't be run on demand by users without admin
      privileges as previously.<br>
      <br>
      We've been looking into alternatives and have a guide up here -
      <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://hep.ph.liv.ac.uk/twiki/Computing/HEPx2goGuide">https://hep.ph.liv.ac.uk/twiki/Computing/HEPx2goGuide</a> - to one of
      them, x2go, which has so far been working for those who've tried
      it.<br>

      If you give that a go, let us know if there's any problems or any
      feedback. If it doesn't work for a particular use case, there are
      some other alternatives we're also looking into, so we may be able
      to find something that works.<br>
