The Oliver Lodge Laboratory is supported by three major areas of infrastructure

  1. The computational facilities which allow the group members to perform rapid physics analysis using both the GRID and dedicated in house facilities. These facilities have been in the TOP100 supercomputers.
  1. The Liverpool Semiconductor Detector Centre. This is a world class facility for the construction and testing of solid state detectors.
  1. The Departmental Workshop which possesses state of the art equipment to support the R&D, contruction and physics programmes.
